On Wednesday November 30th, History had the opportunity to participate in the unveiling of Speedo’s new Fast Swim 3 Race system. Team Speedo was live at this event and it included U.S Olympic gold medallist swimmer Michael Phelps, Natalie Coughlin, Ryan Lochte and many more. The energetic performance that was put on by History and the other dancers opened the show and set the mood for the unveiling of the Fast Swim 3 Race system. History felt this was an awesome experience an was honored to share the stage with the Olympians.

On Friday October 7th History got to play a character on one of his favorite shows, Law and Order: SVU.  He acted in a scene with two of the main characters from the show, Rollins and Fin. This was history’s first speaking role on a prime time television show and he is optimistic that this role will lead to many more. On  September 30th, History made his second appearance on the hit comedic television show Saturday Night Live. The digital short included actors Andy Sanberg, Bill Hader and Kenan Thompson. History was very excited to be filming SNL again and enjoys every opportunity he gets to be on set with the incredible and hilarious cast enjoyed every minute of being on set with the rest of this incredible cast. On Sunday July 31st, History did a photoshoot with the up and coming brand Bk Boyeez that comes straight out of Brooklyn, NY.  Currently, this line carries bowties and has plans to expand to clothing in the future. On June 15th, 2011, History had the opportunity to be a part of a RHLS (Ruffeo Hearts Lil Snotty) photoshoot and fashion show. On both of these occasions History was showcasing the Summer/ Spring 2011 line. The photos that were taken at the photoshoot were all posted on the consumer website for sale purposes. On April 13th, 2011, History will be returning to Japan to perform in the upcoming show “Electric City”. You can find details covering the first trip there, which was in February, on History’s Blog. The show will be featuring actress Wataru Kozuki from Japan and “Showtime at the Apollo” winner Takahiro Ueno also from Japan. This will be History’s 2nd international theater performance with The Feliciano Dance Company. Be sure to check back for more pictures and videos from this tour.

On Sunday February 13, 2011, History participated in a flash mob that was an epic event, which shut down grand central station for 7 minutes. A one of kind fashion flash mob which hasn’t been done this way before in fashion. A couple hours after the performance the event was featured on tons of blogs and I’m sure that number tripled by now. Go ahead an google “Moncler flash mob in Grand Central” and see how much coverage that event received. Below is a little of what was said by Italian VOGUE.

It was an evening to remember for those who were lucky enough to find themselves at New York’s Grand Central Terminal last night. Thanks to the label Moncler Grenoble, the flash mob made its return (after almost 8 years from their first performance) for Mr. Ruffin’s Moncler brand, which presented its Fall 2011 collection in the historical location.

Seven choreographed minutes executed by 180 performers who danced among the Sunday crowds in a routine inspired by the American musicals by Bob Fosse. The presentation went beyond that of a simple fashion show and managed to perfectly embody style and technique. -Italian VOGUE

History recently shot a MACY’S webisode featuring Martha Stewart on Monday Feb. 8th 2010 and played a college FRAT boy. Footage can be viewed on the “Recent Work” page.

On Thursday, September 9th 2010, History had an exciting time shooting a Nintendo Wii commercial/ mini movie playing a DJ. To view the footage from the mini movie visit the recent work page. Wii Party was released by Nintendo on October 3rd, 2010 exclusively for the Wii.

On January 10th, 2011 Largeup.Com, a Caribbean lifestyle website, consulted History’s expertise in dancehall to write an article entitled “Toppa Top 10: Dancehall Dances of the Decade.” In the article, History broke down the mechanics of various popular dances and shared some of the history behind them. On Mon, December 13, 2010 History had the honor of performing at a “Michael Jackson Album Release” event. While this performance allowed him to hone his skills in various styles, the real benefit was being able to perform and pay homage to a dancer/performer he has admired his whole life. Even though History will never be able to perform with the man himself, he feels lucky to have had the opportunity to showcase all the incredible work Michael Jackson has done for dance and music in his lifetime.

On October 27th, 2010, History worked on a spoof of Alexander Rodriguez for the Onion Sports Network.  He enjoyed the chance to continue his work in television and especially liked working in a comedic setting.
